¿Cómo colocar el valor de un temporizador en un puerto GPIO?

Estoy usando el microcontrolador STM32L432KCU para crear una señal de diente de sierra. Mi idea es usar el temporizador TIM2 y una red R-2R (convertidor de digital a analógico) conectados a algunos pines en el microcontrolador (D0, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7). El contador está configurado para comenzar de 0 a 0xFF pero el código no escribe los pines Dx. En el código hay una función llamada write () que se supone que escribe 0 o 1 en cada pin, para eso obtengo el valor del contador usando:

contador = __ HAL_TIM_GetCounter (& htim2)

Y luego hago una prueba de comprobación de bits con el contador variable para verificar si debo configurar o restablecer cada pin. Pero no funciona, los pines D1 ~ D7 permanecen bajos y los pines D0 se mantienen altos y, a veces, se vuelven bajos.

Las expresiones a nivel de bits son todas erróneas, excepto la primera.

Toma el siguiente, por ejemplo

if(((a) & (1<<(1)))==1)

La expresión ((a) & (1<<(1))) es 0 cuando el bit no está establecido, o 2 cuando está establecida, nunca será 1 . Los reescribiría todos como

if(a & (1<<0))

if(a & (1<<1))

if(a & (1<<2))
